Another milestone celebration for our club this weekend, with a new debutant for West Coast.

Bruce Miller getting his 1st cap against Poverty Bay in Gisborne on 19th of September. Playing out of his usual position; being a key player at halfback for our club, Bruce is a utility and everyone at the Kiwi Rugby Club are so proud of you. Keep giving it heaps mate! 💙🤍

FINAL CALL - if you want to represent the club, let the union know!

West Coast Rugby is calling on our Coast legends to pull on the red and white once again.

As part of our Heartland Championship fixture on Saturday, 26 September, we’re hosting a Golden Oldies curtain‑raiser at John Sturgeon Park a chance for past players, club stalwarts, to lace up the boots, reconnect, and represent the Coast

If you’re keen to take the field, share a few laughs, and be part of a special day for our rugby community, we’d love to hear from you.

Representative footy spread all across the motu for our club.

Two young lads with Kiwi Rugby Football Club connections have been representing Waitaha Māori Colts.

Brad Thorn on the left, Eddie Rea on the right. 💙🤍

Our Senior Player Coach who puts a lot of mahi & time into our club, has now become the most capped heartland player. Troy gives his heart and soul to rugby and has put into copious amount of work in to be as successful as he is for West Coast.

Huge achievement and we are so proud of you Troy💙🤍

On the weekend, after 114 appearances, our very own Troy Tauwhare became the most capped player in Heartland Championship!

A monsterous effort - well done Troy!

Not only did we have 1, but we had 2 debutants on Saturday & 1 from the weekend before.

Sam Hewitt made his debut against South Canterbury on Saturday 22nd of August in Timaru. We are very lucky to have Sam lace up with the lads this year while he also has another huge winter gig with skiing, proud of ya mate. 💙🤍

George Rea made his first appearance for West Coast against Whanganui on Saturday 15th of August on home soil in Greymouth. 💙🤍

While the results have been tough first up, we couldn’t be more prouder to have talented men representing our club. With loads of knowledge, experience & talent. Huge for the game.

A huge shoutout goes to Joe Tauwhare who has made his debut for West Coast on Saturday 22nd of August against South Canterbury in Timaru. 💙🤍

We have some epic talent coming through & we couldn’t be prouder of these 4 young lads, from our U14 team who also represented West Coast yesterday against Buller. Couldn’t be prouder of you all.
