Well what an end to the 2025/2026 season, the team pulled out all the stops to secure some pretty amazing results for the NZ Championship.
The nerves were high in the lead up to race day, The tight, technical track proved challenging for all teams in Midhurst but, It wasn't all serious though 🙈. Ollie made the 208 AI videos come to life and made an appearance at drivers briefing to really lighten the mood for all! It'll take so time to get those glorious images erased from out memory banks 😂😂
A massive effort yet again by our dedicated pit crew and ever growing support team that travels to support us all. To the Team Principal Mark, Vice Principal Mike 😂 , Gareth, Graeme, Reubin, Bailey and Levi, we couldn't do it without you. Thankyou so much for your time, dedication being overall great buggars. Absolute legends.
To our extended crew, babysitters, the ladies in the kitchen and our travelling supporters... Thankyou, we have the most epic team ever!
A little round 6/season wrap up;
NEXT GEN:
These kids have blown our minds and expectations. Cooper secured the Top step at midhurst which leaves him 1NZ for this season. His lines, skills and love of the sport is second to none. For Miss Tilly, little Miss consistency made P3 for the round and means she too has secured a national championship placing of 3NZ. Wow.... Just wow, we couldn't be prouder of the minis. Congrats to all of the Next Gen racers..... You should all be proud!
GROUP A:
Ollie and Amanda decided that round 6 would be the perfect time to show some additional skills.... The team have added 'lawn-mowing' to their skill set😂😂 the top 6 final meant they went out hot.... And that they did! They managed to finsh their day in P4 after their excursion but stil managing to complete their season as the Group A NZ Champs 1NZ!! What an epic combo yet again!
Massive congrats to our 'Pit brothers' Venom racing on the win and to Ross, Jackie, Sam and Vanessa on the podium finishes.
SUPERBOATS:
Another tricky tight rotation for the Superboats, Sam and Shama chipped away all day and let loose in the Top 6 shootout..... And let loose they did 🙈 also deciding the final was the perfect time to take a shortcut. They too secured a P4 for the weekend but enough to finish out the NZ Championship with 1NZ!!
Massive shout out to the lads at Spartan! Love ya work, love ya energy! Congrats on the podium fullas and to Dave and Pip on the 3rd..... Epic results!
