Tutira Walkway Challenge Update

I am very sorry to have to do this, but our team have decided to postpone the event for two weeks due to safely issues on both the roads to get to the event venue (with current road closure due to slips, fallen trees and down power lines) and very slippery trail conditions.

The new date for the event is the 16th of October. We have chosen this date for several reasons.
1) The bad weather is continuing until mid-next week which would only give the trail a few days to dry.
2) We are now in the school holidays and the new date is the last weekend of the holidays.

I will re-open the registration page so please get your friends to come and be a part of the Tutira Walkway Challenge. If you can not make the new date, please email me at [email protected] and we will organise are refund as soon as possible.

Once again, I am sorry if this does not work for you, but this is the best decision for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

Trail running in Hawkes Bay just got a little bit more exciting!
