On Saturday we honoured one Doug Erskine

Not because we had to as Doug is already a Life Member of Tuatapere, but because we wanted to.

Doug & Carol have played a huge part in our Tuatapere club over many decades, Doug always goes over and beyond for our club, and we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

Doug in the last few months has hung his mower blades up, due to health issues. We as a club decided we wanted to honour Doug with something him, our members, visitors & future generations can see how much we appreciate Doug's contribution to our Tuatapere Golf Club

It only seemed fitting to place a plaque of recognition beside Allan & Nolene Campbell, Doug was truly humbled by this gesture, thanks once again Doug 🙏 ⛳️👏🚜

Little clubs like ours don't get by on grants, but by the generous donations of time by members it's priceless & never really appreciated till it's gone 💖
