King of the Park – Waikaraka Park 🏁
We had our final meeting of the season last night at Waikaraka Park. To be honest, we didn’t even think we’d get the meeting in before the rain arrived — but we managed to squeeze one race in!

Heat one saw us start from grid 5 and finish in 1st place with a pretty decent lead too. Unfortunately, that ended up being the final race of the night before the rain set in.

Overall, we’ve had a really good season this year and, best of all, managed to finish most of our races. We’ve already got things ready to making a few changes to the car and get back out there next season to hopefully be even faster.

A huge thank you again to all of our awesome sponsors — without your support, none of this would be possible.
We’ll catch everyone at prize giving and will make another post then!

Our bad luck at Rotorua continues.

Nothing went our way on the second night getting spun up more then once in the first 2 races and then everyone deciding to spin out infront of me in the 3rd.

Big thanks to everyone who came down was a good weekend away off the track which makes up for the struggles on it. Also a big that’s to Silodec for the use to their workshop on Sunday morning.

We’re coming to the end of the season with only 2 more meeting planed back at waikaraka, fingers crossed they can get the track sorted 🤞🏼

Big thanks as always to our sponsors and everyone who came down and helped wouldn’t be out there without them

First night of our Easter weekend racing didn’t quite go as we’d hoped. 🐣

Race one started strong, making our way from grid 18 up to 7th, but after running a little wide on the final corner we dropped back to finish 9th.

In race two, we started from grid 3 and were running second for a couple of laps before getting spun, which led to a few heavy hits. One of those winded him, so he had to take a breather before rejoining the race. He pushed through to finish, but once we got back in the pits we discovered a pinhole leak in the radiator. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully repair it, so we used a stop-leak product to get it sorted for tomorrow
We’ll be back at it again tomorrow night!

Thanks to our sponsors who make it possible

Been a bit quiet on here lately — not for lack of trying, just a run of rain-offs and track issues at Waikaraka holding things up.
We made our way down to Huntly on the 28th and got three races in, although the results didn’t quite go our way.
Race one was messy with a few cars spinning out in front of us, and our setup wasn’t quite right.
Race two brought a heavily rutted track, which ended in a popped tyre for us.
By race three, we weren’t making ground, so we backed it off and helped out one of the Auckland boys — which paid off with a win for him! First win too, so big shoutout to Bailey 👏🏁
Unfortunately, that race also ended with another popped tyre for us, so not a whole lot to celebrate on our end.
Next up, we’re heading to Rotorua this weekend for a 2-day meet, then back for King of the Park on May 2nd to wrap up what’s been a pretty quiet season.

Our deepest condolences are also with Shannon and his family after the passing a Paul. Sending so much love your way!

Cheers

Gutted not to be down in Stratford this weekend — the gearbox rebuild has us parked up for now. The good news is it’s in the workshop getting sorted, so we’ll be back at Waikaraka early March.

Best of luck to everyone racing in the multiple championships this weekend — hope it all goes your way! 🏁

Cheers!

Waikaraka Park 30/01/26

Last night we were at Waikaraka Park supporting the International Super Saloons and the Auckland vs Great Britain teams race. Starting race one off grid 22, we charged our way up to 8th before a red-light restart. Unfortunately the gearbox let go on the restart and brought our night to an early end.

We’ll get it sorted before the next meeting — still undecided whether we head to Stratford to support Scott in his NZ Saloon Title or wait for the next Auckland meet in March.

Racing can be frustrating when things go wrong, but that’s part of it. Huge thanks to our sponsors who continue to back us through the highs and lows — we couldn’t do it without you. 👊🏁 Cheers

🏁 Waikaraka Park – 17/01/26 🏁

We were part of the supporting class for the New Zealand Saloon Grand Prix! With so many events happening, there were only 9 stockcars, which gave us a perfect chance to try some new setup ideas. Turns out… some of them didn’t quite work 😅.

The track got extremely rutty, making it tough to see big improvements, but it was awesome to get more seat time and learn a ton.

Unfortunately, in the last race, something – debris or a giant piece of mud – hit our fan, taking it out. It damaged the pulley and bearing, cut our radiator hose, and left a huge dent in the bonnet 😬.

Plenty of work ahead before our next meeting on the 31st back at Waikaraka – can’t wait to see you all there!

We had our Auckland champs on the 10th, it was a small but quality field with 21 cars so it was always going to be a good night of racing.

Race 1: Grid 19 - Finished 11th
Race 2: Grid 10 - Finished 4th
Race 3: Grid 1 - Finished 1st 🏁

We made some changes to the car over the week which seemed to work. Car was quick on a challenging track and in the end getting spun in race 1 really cost us finishing 1 point short of the podium in 4th equal. Still plenty of positives to take away from the night with our first win of the season and we’ll try again this weekend back at waikaraka in support of the saloon gp

1st at waikaraka was a good learning night having my first teams race and against a strong raiders team it was always going to be a challenge. First race went well with coming home 2nd just getting held up by some good blocking. Second race my inexperience showed getting taken to the wall then trying to do a silly hit and tipping myself over, but I’ll learn from that. Cheers to the other boys for a good 2 races hopefully we can do it again some time.

Went out and raced the last 2 normal races of the night just going out making sure everything was okay after the roll and then a good fast feature race finishing 3rd. Big thanks to everyone who helped out over the night. Next meeting for us is the 10th at waikaraka for the Auckland champs

Headed down to Rotorua for the north islands. Never really had any luck there in any class that I’ve raced and that didn’t change over the weekend.

Race 1: Grid 5 - Finished 3rd
Race 2: Grid 15 - dnf
Race 3: Grid 12- dnf

Had a good first race but that’s where our luck ended. Flat RR tyre in the next 2 races put us out of contention to qualify. Bit disappointing but we move on and get ready for Waikaraka Family Speedway on the 1st for their new years fireworks meeting.
