We did the Milford Track at the start of the year and The Man and I feature in one of the photos along with members of the Auckland Baptist Tramping Club which we belong to. See if you can spot us. I'm the one that looks like a little pink and black whale :)

Liz Carlson, of the popular travel blog Young Adventuress, recently walked the Milford Track and has some exclusive, what you should know before you go, insights to share with us…

Our latest hiking/tenting venture didn't go quite according to plan when the Man and I found ourselves 'lost' in the bush on our way up the creek. Needless to say we survived but only after an 8 and 1/2 hr marathon. I am so proud of myself cos I didn't kill anybody and we both lived to tell the tale haha!!
