We did the Milford Track at the start of the year and The Man and I feature in one of the photos along with members of the Auckland Baptist Tramping Club which we belong to. See if you can spot us. I'm the one that looks like a little pink and black whale :)

Day 2. We did an much, much easier hike around the Low Level Loop track which was all I could manage after yesterday's mammoth effort up Mt Te Aroha and back with full packs.

Easter Weekend and the Man and I did a 4 day hike around Lake Waikaremoana with the ABTC. A good time was had by all and we lived to tell the story :)

Our latest hiking/tenting venture didn't go quite according to plan when the Man and I found ourselves 'lost' in the bush on our way up the creek. Needless to say we survived but only after an 8 and 1/2 hr marathon. I am so proud of myself cos I didn't kill anybody and we both lived to tell the tale haha!!

Taking on the Pinnacles - Round 2. The whanau went back to the Coromandle and climbed up to the Pinnacles hut this time at night. The next morning we climbed the Pinnacles then headed for home.
