🌈🎯 A Little Magic at Belmont
While we spend most of our time looking down our sights, focused on the target at the end of the range, every now and then the sport throws up a moment that genuinely surprises you.

During our training session at Belmont Range over the weekend, one of those moments appeared — literally — when an incredible rainbow arced across the range and landed right on the targets.

No pot of gold waiting for us… but we’ll happily take the V‑bulls instead. 🇦🇺💛💚

🇦🇺🎯 Australian Target Rifle Team – Weekend Training Update

Another big weekend on the road to the Australia Match at Belmont in October 2026, and the team has once again put in the hard yards — both at home and on the mound.

Hours spent practicing at home, fine‑tuning gear and sharpening individual processes all came together with another opportunity to train as a team. These sessions aren’t just about technique; they’re about building cohesion, strengthening trust and continuing the momentum from previous training sessions.

Plenty more work ahead, but the energy is strong and the commitment is real.

Congratulations Shane Abood – 2026 NQRA Kings & Grand Aggregate Champion! 🏆

What an outstanding achievement for Australian Rifle Team member Shane Abood, who claimed the NQRA Kings Prize and the Grand Aggregate over the weekend in North Queensland.

This victory marks Shane’s third Kings win, a testament to his consistency, focus and world‑class skill on the mound.
