We’re a friendly outdoor target shooting club in Trentham Upper Hutt. We shoot from 300 to 1000 yards and welcome everyone from experienced shooters & Hunters to beginners. Enjoy coaching, competitions, and social events in a supportive community.

Special guests, Mayor Guppy and Mrs Clare Derby QSM both presented trophies and spoke well of the club. Chris Hipkins MP for Rimutaka also spoke and said that he is looking forward to his annual shot off against the mayor on open day in a few weeks time. Also invited guests Jan and Kevin Win from Onslow, Karyn and Steve Flanagan from Karori and Alvrie and Andre Doyle from Petone.

Hi all a reminder that it is our prize giving this Saturday at the clubroom. Starting at 6:00 with Refreshments then followed by dinner. Cost will be around $20/25. Please let Rags know if you are attending so he can sort the catering. Hope to see you there to cheer on our club members and winners.

Some more pixs from the first safe the larger of the 2. Bit of a tight squeeze, had about 10mm on one side and 30mm on the other but a successful decent. Weighed around 560kgs.

The Italian job/bank hiest, the club was donated a nice size safe last mouth that we had to get out and down some stairs this week. Great trun out to help get them down. Took 2 nights and a couple of hours today to get to the club. A big thanks to Lyn, Linda and the team a ANZ for their kind donation.

Our campaign is coming to a close last boards were put in place nailed, punched and filled. Just some final touches to make look nice then ready for prize giving.

For a rifle club there hasn't been alot of posts about shooting recently so these are of closing day at 500yds. Pete W came out to do some coaching, BJ tried to avoid the camera and FTR shooter Eben gave target class a go.

Today Eben and Casey spent time working on the new reloading bench. All finished minus a few touches here and there. Soon to have a workable reloading area. Also had help from Fred.

Progress report on floor: 2/3rds leveled and floor boards down. Should only have to do another one or two more working bees and floor done. Then onto kitchen and ladies toilet.
