NZ Nationals and Oceanbridge done and dusted! We finished 2nd overall this weekend, enjoyed the sailing, and kept the mast the right way up✅️

The Hague World champs 2023, done and dusted! We finished 48th in the World and that is all we could achieve this week. We couldn't get of the starts and we struggled with speed which were both pretty important. We are gutted and frustrated as this result isn't what we wanted and doesn't reflect what we think we are capable off. Circumstances weren't in our favor this week, that's sport and sometimes it doesn't line up for ya.

Congrats Jo/Molly on qualifying NZ an FX country spot for Paris! And all the others kiwis who qualified a country spot this week.

One more sleep and we are racing the World Champs here in the Hague! We got through measurement today, did our final checks, and we are ready👊

Hyeres World Cup done! Other than two very windy races, it was a tricky week of light winds for us. Not our strong suit which we learnt in Palma, but we had some great learnings and we've come out of the event better light wind sailors. Now we'll debrief, pack up, and head home to NZ in a few days time. Onwards✌️🌿🇳🇿

We didn't put the pieces together in the light winds yesterday. We'll be in Silver fleet, battling the best of the rest, for the next two days trying to learn as much as we can⛵️

Second World Cup of the season starts tomorrow!🇫🇷 The forecast is looking fruity for the first day but we should have a good week of racing ahead👊

Day two: F* Tough day in the office dropping from 11th to 43rd... it's a day we will learn from and then try to swiftly forget. This is the nature of sport, we have to rebuild and come back better tomorrow✌️

Here we go👊🌿🇳🇿 We start regatta tomorrow and we kick off our European campaign for 2023! This is our first Palma event together in the 49er FX so we're looking forward to the racing experience and climbing our way up the fleet🙌
