It is with sadness that we announce that our Dad, John Fitzgerald, had a tee off time booked in Heaven at 2pm on Wednesday 12 March on the grandest golf course of all.

He was never one for a fuss and didn’t want to be the centre of attention, so the immediate family will say goodbye to Dad in a private ceremony on Monday 17 March in Whakatane.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their condolences and support to Robyn Klinac Kerry Fitzgerald and Megan FitzGerald and his Grandchildren Holly Klinac Brad Klinac Jake Klinac Georgia Mae Logan Nye Mason Fitzgerald

John was for most of his 82 years either at golf or at work. To everyone at NZ Forest Products Kinleith, and probably every golfer on every course in NZ, especially Tokoroa and Whakatane, thank you for your involvement in Dads life.
