Kiaora Whanau !! Ariana is my name, Ive been on the earth for 27yrs. This post if to introduce myself and give a little about why I've become a Home based Personal Trainer 😄
I've dabbled in several gyms in NZ over the past 10yrs. I'd been a competitive swimmer from 8yr-16yrs. Did track & field competitively while in highschool. Played soccer through all school years + an extra 4yrs after highschool with local womans teams. Dabbled in multiple martial arts for a few years at a time, starting at 15yrs old till recently. Dabbled in crossfit trainings since I was 18yrs old. Currently for the past 3yrs I've taken up power lifting for fun & have competed as an amateur aswell. My latest, ontop of the power lifting has been learning Olympic Lifting.
I've had multiple injuries over the years too 😂😅, broken 6 bones, 2 different soft tissues and possibly a 3rd that never got looked at 🙈😅 Not all are from sports or exercise! Some were from just being plain clumsy 😂🤦♀️
I'm a home based trainer as I find it alot more convenient for myself aswell as for clients. This way its private & helps ease the social anxiety that anyone may have. Aswell as to help cater for parents that don't have time for themselves outside of their child/ren or can afford a babysitter. My property is fully fenced in with a large playhouse down the back yard, an enclosed trampoline, climbing frame and climbing boxes. I also have 2 children, both girls, ages 9 &4 so if anyone needs to bring their child/ren theyre more than welcome to come play. I've also got wifi so if the child/ren would prefer to be on a device then theres no judgement 🙏
I really enjoy the 1 on 1 experience. I design my programs to be personally for you, for your training, based off your goals and abilities, so its not a copy an paste situation.
In terms of booking, Ive got a online booking system so clients can access my time and book in when its convenient for them. This system is confidential between whoever booked and myself. We will both get an email regarding the booking being made for the set details aswel as a notification the day before the booking. Bookings can also be canceled or rescheduled online.
How I like to do things before getting straight into a training is request them to fill out my online consultation form, (attached below) once they've submitted it, I read over it and contact them for a time & place to have a meet & greet over a coffee. Here we can put a face to the name, i can get more in depth information about their health & injuries based off their answers off the consultation form & it also gives them a chance to ask me any questions.
