congratulations to all the Lakeview Archers who shot at Whitford yesterday in round #1 of the NZFAA Marked League series. Thanks also to the Whitford team who set out a nice challenging course for us all to enjoy - and the nice weather was a real bonus!

shout out to the brave/crazy archers who recently shot their Flint round in the NZFAA Indoor Series in terrible weather conditions. Some impressive scores were achieved despite this - proving the determination of the Lakeview archers shooting in the Indoor series outdoors!

Tony’s has been busy for the last couple of weeks completing the longbow for Dan being the successful Raffle winner at the 2026 Don Finnegan memorial shoot. Just waiting for a couple of coats to dry and finish it off ready to shoot.

Congratulations to the Lakeview Archers who battled the weather and ground conditions at the Archery NZ Nationals last week. Richard, Vicki, Jack and Dennis. Several medals collected as the icing on the cake after a difficult couple of days of shooting. Go Lakeview !!!

Thanks to everyone who was involved in the Don Finnegan Memorial Classic over the weekend - working bee champions, administration, catering team and of course the competitors. Just a reminder that we have a working bee this Sunday to get the courses ready for the Don Finnegan Memorial Classic. We will aim to start around 8am over in Henry's gully noting that the temperatures are expected to get rather high on Sunday. Please bring weed-eaters, leaf blowers, spades and lots of muscles. This is a great way to work off any extra Christmas cake or chocolate that you have continued to enjoy into the new year!
Thanks to the team that were able to help last week and get the 3D's wrangled into their new spots!
