Te Waitere Boat Club Welcome to Te Waitere Boat Club's official page! Our club proudly homes traditional Whaleboats which are still used recreationally.

Whaleboats have been on Kawhia Harbour for over 100 years. Aiming to keep you updated on upcoming events and general info. Open every Friday night, year round, from 6pm. Meals by Christine are available between 6pm-8.30pm. Come on down for dinner, a game of pool, watch the rugby and catch up with your community!

The Te Waitere boat club would like to acknowledge the passing of Sandra Drummond.
Sandra was a stalwart of the Kawhia Rowing Club and loving partner to Allan Rubay.
Sandras funeral is to be held on Friday, 11am at Maketu.

Our condolences to all who knew and loved Sandra.
