Tillbury Equestrian Welcome to Tillbury Equine! The name Tillbury was inspired by our incredible doberman Tilly, she’s still very much a beloved family member.

We specialise in young, unbroken, problem horses and lessons.

Unfortunately Rory has managed to fracture her hind leg so will be out for awhile but on the plus side it gives me plenty of time to get to know Laura (Golden girl) 🤞

Big improvements from FF Luzia today tackling some xc fences for the first time in a while. This mare is such a super little mare who can be a bit spicy especially when she sees a jump! Definitely began to settle in and enjoy her job by the end, fingers crossed she can eat up the fences at WEC HT this weekend 🤞

Latest pony Mugsie, a 14hh qh/erp who’s super cool! He will be for sale at some stage in the coming months once he’s had some more outings and will be an awesome second/third pony for the right kid!

Rory’s first behind the ears video and what an awesome view it was for me 🤣 she had another session today after 4 days off while we were away, she handled it like a champ and was by far more interested in the treats on offer than what the person on her back was doing 👌

Rory continues to show what an amazing brain she has, we’ve been long reining for just a couple of days and today she ventured off on her own around the orchard 🥰 we’ve also been practicing leaning over her and getting her confident having weight on her. We are lucky that Rory had been started before arrival which does make our job easier, but still want to make sure all the boxes are ticked and nothings missed in her training as these early days are so vital to what kind of future she has 🥰

Stitch is quite a difficult ride being both strong and reactive so Bailey is doing an absolutely amazing job producing her 🙈
