Here at Fit Mum we work on replacing that once known mindset of โ€œI canโ€™tโ€ with โ€œI canโ€, simply by trying and building from there.

Here at Fit Mum we a big on using unilateral exercises (single-leg or single-arm movements) in our everyday training program as the benefits from them are huge. The primary benefit being that it make us use both sides of our body equally and when we do this it helps us avoid overusing or overtraining our dominant side. It also helps isolate and correct muscle imbalances, improve balance, switch on core muscles, aid in injury prevention and facilitates rehabilitation.๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸคŸ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’•

However we have since discovered that by loading the body asymmetrically while moving we can get a lot of those same benefits aswell.
