A huge congratulations to the newest Life Member, officially recognized at last night's Te Awamutu Marist AGM. What an outstanding achievement! Way to go Stuart Dex Dexter!

Read on to discover his incredible journey and the remarkable contributions he has made to Te Awamutu Marist over the years.

Life Membership Nomination – Stuart Dexter

Since joining Te Awamutu Marist in 1998, Stuart Dexter has been a loyal, hardworking, and passionate member of our club community. Over nearly three decades, Stuart has contributed to Marist life both on and off the field, representing the true spirit and values of our club.

As a player, he has proudly worn the Marist colours across Senior A Division Premier, Senior A, Senior B, and Piggies Presidents grades, as well as competing for two years in Marist cricket and two years in Marist lacrosse. His versatility and commitment to sport reflect his deep dedication to the Marist family.

Beyond playing, Stuart has given 19 years to coaching, guiding not only his own sons but countless other young players through our junior rugby ranks. His leadership, patience, and care have helped shape generations of Marist players and families.

Stuart also gave back through governance and service, serving two years as Club President and many more as a dedicated committee member, helping strengthen and sustain our club’s culture and community.

Stuart’s unwavering commitment, humility, and service over more than 25 years make him a truly deserving candidate for Life Membership of Te Awamutu Marist.
