CST Group - Water Services Bulk Water Delivery & Drinking Water Supply for the Waikato Region. Our potable water is all taken from designated council fill points and is safe to drink.

CST Water (Formerly known as Waikato Water and Cartage - still the same owners) are a family owned and operated company based in Cambridge, servicing the Waikato region. We provide water delivery services throughout the Waikato region, including water tank refills, swimming pool filling, water tank cleaning and water tank hire. We are able to deliver over 13,000 litres in a load, and 23,000 litres by truck and trailer if the property access allows. We have several trucks operating throughout the Waikato including Cambridge, Hamilton, Morrinsville, Te Awamutu and surrounding areas. We take pride in complying with Health and Safety regulations and we are Department of Health registered. Our trucks are highly maintained to ensure your water delivery is of the highest standard.

Last Thursday, Ross, Darryl and Edwin headed across the ditch to Sydney to attend the Unlock AI Sydney Summit 2026!

At CST Group, we believe there's always room to improve. Whether it's refining our systems, finding more efficient ways of working or exploring new technology, we're constantly looking at how we can do things better and continue growing our business.

The summit gave the guys plenty of food for thought, with some great insights into how AI can support smarter business operations and future growth. Safe to say they returned with plenty of ideas and a few new things for the to-do list! 😄

We're looking forward to putting some of that knowledge into practice and seeing where it takes us. After all, a better business behind the scenes means an even better service for our customers.

Different jobs. Same essential requirement: water where it’s needed.

A couple of recent jobs from the CST Water team show just how varied bulk water delivery can be.

In Cambridge, we’ve been filling water mains ready for new connections.

Out on the farm, it was a different story. A customer’s farm pump was playing up and couldn’t keep up with demand, so our team delivered water to help cover the shortfall while they got the issue sorted.

From infrastructure and construction work through to rural water supply, sometimes you simply need a large volume of water delivered to the right place.

Backing local talent all the way to Chile!⚽

At CST Group, supporting our local community is something we’re proud to do, especially when it means helping someone chase a big dream. And there’s something extra special about being able to support people within the CST Group family.

We’re excited to sponsor Ellis Williams, the son of one of our CST Group team members, as he travels to Chile with the RH3 Ricky Herbert Academy of New Zealand to compete in an international football tournament.

Meet Edwin Joseph, our new General Manager – Operations

Edwin brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience across heavy machinery, heavy fabrication, hydraulics and fleet logistics.

Over his career, he has built and expanded specialised business units, managed complex site operations, led technical teams and overseen large-scale fleets and assets. His background across the mechanical and fabrication sectors gives him a strong understanding of both the technical and operational sides of running an industrial business.

He also brings a strong focus on using better systems, technology and processes to improve efficiency, support teams and deliver a better experience for customers.

At CST Group, Edwin will be focused on strengthening our operations as we continue to grow.

A little reminder, we clean water tanks and deliver water in bulk.

If you’d like to keep the water already in your tank, we can temporarily store it while the tank is cleaned and then return it afterwards. Or, if you prefer, we can deliver a fresh load of water once the clean is complete.

Darryl and Ross had a great day attending the Trade and Industrial Waste Forum last week.

It was a valuable opportunity to hear what’s happening across the trade waste industry around New Zealand, learn about some of the challenges and changes different regions are facing, and see how others are approaching them.

One of the highlights was meeting and connecting with a number of Trade Waste Officers from around NZ and having some really good conversations about what’s happening on the ground.

Always worthwhile getting out, sharing ideas, making connections, and bringing some new knowledge back to CST Group.

Good people. Good work. Good excuse for a BBQ & Some Beers. 🍻🔥

On Friday, we headed out to catch up with the awesome team at Phoenix Civil Limited and put on a BBQ to say thanks for their continued support and for being such a great team to work with.

Tanya took charge of the BBQ and absolutely nailed it, keeping the crew well fed while everyone enjoyed a proper catch-up.

We do a lot of work with Phoenix Civil, and having a trusted team to work alongside makes a real difference on every project. Good people, good communication and a strong working relationship go a long way.

Our Team in Action: Emergency Flood Response at Hamilton Police Station

Last week, our CST Group team was called urgently to the Hamilton Police Station after a council pipe burst and caused extensive flooding throughout the basement.

Our crews used our specialist vacuum trucks and equipment to quickly and safely remove the floodwater, bringing the affected area back under control.

It’s exactly the kind of job our Flooding & Emergency Spill Response service is built for.

MEET MATT 👋

If you’ve had one of the CST Group trucks turn up on site, there’s a good chance you’ve met Matt.

Matt has been with CST Group for almost 9 years and is one of the guys out there doing the mahi, meeting customers and getting the job done every day.

FAVOURITE PART OF THE JOB
Being out and about, meeting people and never knowing exactly what the day will bring. No two days are the same, and over the years he’s made some great mates along the way.

SOMETHING CUSTOMERS MIGHT NOT KNOW
You can’t always completely empty a tank if there’s a high water table around it. Take too much weight out of the tank and there’s a risk it can actually lift or “pop” out of the ground. A good reminder that there’s often a bit more to these jobs than simply turning up and pumping a tank out!

BIG ACHIEVEMENT
Matt got his Class 4 licence a few years ago, helping him take on even more of the work happening out in the field.

AROUND THE YARD
Matt is known for always being up for a good yarn - whether that’s with the team or customers out on site.

OUTSIDE OF WORK
Weekends are usually a mix of hunting, fishing, watching the kids’ sport and spending time with family. One family tradition Matt values is getting everyone together for dinner once a month. And if you’re looking for him on a quiet Sunday morning, Robert Harris in Cambridge is a pretty good place to start. ☕

FUN FACT
Matt was born in England and moved to New Zealand when he was three.
