Waitakere City Rugby Football & Sports Club Inc. Junior rugby club for kids 4 to 13 years old. Senior club from school leavers up until Presidents 35+ grades available. Welcome to Waitakere Rugby.

We are a club that is growing from strength to strength and there are plenty of new things happening, our HIGH PERFORMANCE ACADEMY ensures we have enhanced training and game day performances throughout the teams. With our junior teams growing each year - you'll love becoming a part of our rugby family. Junior Rugby is the HEART and SOUL of any club.

What an awesome day of junior rugby! A massive shoutout to this week's POD award winners who brought the energy, effort, and team spirit from the first whistle to the last.

Whether it was big tackles, strong runs, great sportsmanship, or never giving up, you showed what our club is all about. 💪👏

Well done to all our POD’s who did amazing today for themselves, their teams, whānau and our club!

🎉 Another successful club day for our Juniors - all teams playing at home from 8.30am to 12pm the fields were pumping!

⚡️ The energy was high, with great tackles, runs, rucks and tries…even a winning cartwheel in celebration.

🤝 Our teams heading to the Taupō Global Games did a killer job at the sausage sizzle and baking tents, both exceeding expectations for their fundraising today.

All Junior Club teams will be playing at home tomorrow, so grab your friends and whānau and come down to support our players!

While you're there, be sure to support our teams heading to the Taupō Global Games Competition by checking out the fundraising stalls, including:

🌭 Sausage sizzle
🍰 Home baking and treats
☕ Coffee cart onsite

It's shaping up to be a great morning of rugby and community spirit!
