What’s happening in the area? 👀

There’s plenty of racing fun coming up across the region, with big racedays, festive favourites and some of the season’s most anticipated events just around the corner.

The Great New Zealand Jumps Carnival is just around the corner...

Two days of top-class jumps racing, plenty happening off the track and a whole lot of tradition under the mountain. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of it 👇

🐎 DAY ONE | Friday, 18 September
Headlined by the J Swap Contractors Ltd Great New Zealand Hurdle, kicking off a huge weekend of jumps racing at Te Aroha.

🐎 DAY TWO | Sunday, 20 September
We’re back for the Ben & Ryan Foote Racing Great New Zealand Steeplechase, bringing the Carnival to a fitting finale.

🎟️ General admission is FREE on both days, simply turn up, find your spot and enjoy the action.

🍽️ Want to make a day of it? The Great New Zealand Lunch is available on both racedays for $100pp, including a reserved seat, catered meal, two drinks, entertainment and spot prizes. Book via https://racingtearoha.co.nz/events

🎤 And don’t forget Saturday Night Live on Saturday, 19 September, keeping the Carnival going between racedays with an evening at Te Aroha Racecourse all in support of a good cause in NZ Horse Ambulance Trust
