We are extremely proud to celebrate another milestone for one of our players this weekend, with George ‘Siaosi’ Lelenoa playing his 60th game for the Waihou Senior A’s.
George first burst onto the Thames Valley scene in 2015, when he joined Waihou as a block-busting Number 8 who dominated the competition and was an unstoppable attacking force. After a stint playing in the Counties-Manukau competition, George returned to Waihou, where he has been an integral part of our playing, coaching and now recruitment staff.
George had immediate success in the Valley, representing the Swampfoxes 19 times until 2018 and continuing his rampaging style, scored 6 tries. He has also played 1 game each for Ngati Porou East Coast and Poverty Bay.
It is fantastic to have influential, talented players at Waihou, and we are so proud that George has made Waihou Rugby and Sports his home.
George will be presented his blazer after this Saturday’s game against Mercury Bay, so please come on down and help us celebrate this fantastic milestone. ❤️🔥🙌
