This is one hunt I’ll never forget!

Hunting has always been enjoyable for me, but nothing prepared me for how much i could enjoy it sharing it with my boy.

Jake roared at this stag and it even spun around! now he won’t stop roaring! still going in the photo 😂

Spotted this white-tail doe on Stewart Island — cautious at first, then wandered right in for a look.

Velvet removed, potassium permanganate applied and left to dry. This result is from a single coat, which I was happy with since it closely matches the natural staining in the area where it was taken (fuchsia trees). Adding another coat would darken it further.
