First full season in in the books.
Baypark was an absolute beauty this year, so much more confidence with the car running the wall made for a fun weekend! The car is definitely due a clam shell rear end now. The boys were panel beating every time I came in off track. 🤣 We were facing issues with our box not selecting the next gear so I was slamming it as hard as I could while looking at my gearshift display to make sure it was changing into gear. Still missed gears in qualifying and battles though 🤣Qualified 12th which put us up against Tyler West, I knew I could trust Tyler so pushed hard and after our battle the decision was go to One more time. Was a very close battle but in my lead I tagged the wall, unsettling the chase car which ultimately handed the win over to tyler. He went on to finish 3rd so well done mate!
Not the season we hoped for finishing up in 11th, I know the results don’t particularly show the full story so guess we have to run it back next year now the car is feeling great. Lots of lessons learned that we will take into the future.
