TMAA teach people of all skill levels from absolute beginners to world champions, and our team of instructors are highly skilled with over 300 years of experience between them. TERM 3 MUAY THAI GRADING
SATURDAY SEPT 19th

Sawasdee khrup Muay Thai families,

Term 3 grading is this weekend, and most students who are eligible and at the standard to grade, have already been invited via our new TMAA Student Pathway app. If you are expecting to grade and haven't received an invitation yet, please check your spam folder for the app invitation.

Some students, have been given forms, as their invitation has not been opened, if you are unsure about your child's grading status please reach out to us.

A handful of gradings assessments will still be done today and possibly Friday.

As always grading will be a challenging experience, please make sure you are well prepared, know your syllabus and can execute all techniques at a high standard on the day, grades are earnt, not given!

Those grading to grey shirt and above bring your running shoes, you have a 3.8km run to do.

Make sure you are well rested, bring a drink bottle and snacks. Red shirts and above make sure you have a mouthguard and boys a groin guard.

Please make sure all grading fee's are paid through the app, over the counter or to the following bank account by 6PM Friday.

Here you go team, the overall medal standings from the 4th Annual TMAA All Arts Youth Championship.

Congratulations to Beau Lenny , the overall champion!
Well done beau, all that hard work, with 6 days a week training is paying off.
Enjoy your $200 cash prize.

Congrats to Carter and Kizom, who were age group champions.

And a special acknowledgement to Kayden, who was tied with Kizom for Junior champion, but Kizom won the tie breaker.

Had 2 awesome events on Saturday, thank you to all the competitors for participating and showing your best, as always so impressed by so many of you, whether you won or lost you will have learnt and grown from the experience.

Unfortunately our results App crashed on Saturday, so we couldn't award all the trophies, but they winners will be announced today and somebody is getting a $200 Champions cash prize!

I'll post the results table after todays announcements.

Thank you to all the students and parents who helped us run the event, without you, we couldn't give the student's these opportunities.

Thank you to all the parents, family & friends who came along and supported the competitors.

Thank you to Mana and her crew from Whariki, for running the BJJ and MMA, lending us your podium, and letting the visiting club use your space to prep on the day.

LAST SQUAD TRAINING OF TERM 3 – THIS SATURDAY

If you want to become a better competitor, Squad Training is where the work gets done.

At our recent Taekwon-Do tournament, all five of our top medalists, consistently attend Saturday Squad training. That’s not a coincidence. Extra time on the mats, higher-level training and working alongside other committed students produces results.

Next year, we want to build a strong TMAA competitive team capable of achieving at the highest level – and Saturday Squad will be the cornerstone of that development.

Parents, if your child has ambitions to compete, improve faster or simply see how good they can become, these are the sessions to get them to.
