Wellington Harbour from 12,000 ft! 🛩️☁️

In the centre of the photo, you can see the Wellington Harbour, photographed from 12,000 ft over the Wairarapa on a wave day.

But here’s the cool part: did you know a glider can climb from around 2,000 ft to 12,000 ft without an engine? 🤯

That’s the magic of wave flying, using the invisible lift created when strong winds flow over the mountains. 🌊⛰️
