It’s FINALS day at AIMS today for the football teams. The Girls have been undefeated all week, and after a narrow loss this morning will be playing for 3rd this afternoon.

The boys are playing for 19th after some tough physical play and unlucky goals.

A big OFC good luck to all of our Otumoetai Football players competing at AIMS Games this week! 🙌

We’re especially proud to see so many of our young players representing Otumoetai Intermediate, with players from our Federation Youth and U12 & U13 Pre-Academy teams involved across both Boys & Girls Football and Futsal squads. 💚⚽️

Go out there, enjoy the experience, back your teammates and represent your school with pride! We’ll be cheering you on all week. 👏

Part-Time Summer 5-A-Side Football Coordinator

Love football? Enjoy being outdoors? Looking for a part-time role in a great community environment?

Ōtūmoetai Football Club is looking for a reliable and confident Football Coordinator to help us set up and run our Thursday night Summer 5-A-Side Football Programme across Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027.

💚 THE ROLE
This is a paid part-time position of approximately 6 hours per week.
You’ll be an important part of making sure our Summer 5 A-Side nights run smoothly, safely and on time.

⚽ WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
🕑 Arrive at 2:00pm to set up fields, goals and field numbers
⚽ Oversee sessions running at 4:15pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm & 6:45pm
🏃 Move and position mini football goals and field numbers
🚜 Safely operate the club’s quad bike
🧹 Help supervise the pack-down at the end of the evening
👟 Help ensure all sessions run smoothly and safely

🙌 WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
✔️ Has a sound knowledge of football
✔️ Is confident working independently and managing multiple sessions
✔️ Is physically capable of moving the mini goals
✔️ Is comfortable operating a quad bike
✔️ Is reliable, organised and confident working with players

We’re excited to introduce our new Director of Football, joining Ōtūmoetai Football Club in October!

Jordi Langton

A former Ōtūmoetai Junior and Senior Men’s First Team player and Captain, he has spent the past four years coaching and educating in England and Canada and is now looking forward to returning home to the Bay of Plenty.

We’re lucky to have Jordi return, bringing his skills and passion back to the club.
