Bettering your health often starts with trying to fix a problem.
It could be:
Confidence.
𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺.
Performance.
𝘚𝘦𝘹 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
Excess fat.
𝘊𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴.
Puffed walking up stairs.
You get the idea. You have tried before, you talk to people about it. You sign up with “experts” that try and overhaul your whole life for this one thing.
But you end up in the same spot.
I used to be like that.
Until I realised the problem was me.
Attention and focus will direct our energy, the famous quote goes something like “I think therefore I am”. I used to constantly think about my problems and you probably do to.
But where does that direct your energy?
It directs it to the negative. Instead of focusing on the solutions you need you are thinking about the problems you have.
Now I’m not saying that you should ignore your problems. Far from it. You need to be aware of them. You just don’t need be consumed by them.
Start thinking like the person you want to become and more often than not the solutions start to present themselves in your life (within reason).
If you want to be healthy, you need to think you are a healthy person.
If you want to stress less you need to think you are stress free.
Try this out, take a goal you want. Think about who you need to be to get to that goal, what would that person think?
Now, every morning for the next 7 days when you wake up start your day by thinking like that person.
Example:
“I am health, I am strong, I am fit”.
