Looking for a sport that gives your child skills they can use in almost every other sport? Give athletics a go!
At Greerton Amateur Athletics Club, we develop the fundamental skills of running, jumping, and throwing while helping children and young people build speed, strength, coordination, agility, confidence and resilience.
Whether your child is brand new to sport, loves being active, or wants to take their performance to the next level, thereβs a place for them.
Mini Club β Ages 3β6
Fun, age-appropriate activities where children learn through play, with parents and caregivers joining in.
Junior & Youth β Ages 7β19
Develop skills across running, jumping, and throwing, with regular opportunities to race, measure and celebrate personal bests.
Junior Coaching β Ages 7-9
Our junior athletes have a coach-led station every week, breaking coaching into bite-sized sessions that help athletes learn, practice, and develop their skills.
Specialist Coaching Nights β Ages 10+
For two weeks each term, we welcome specialist coaches from around the region for small-group sessions in Starts, Sprints, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump, and Long Jump. Past specialist coaches have included New Zealand and regional athletics representatives.
