Our campaign continues this weekend as we host our Ngai Tamarawaho Whanau for an encounter for the Ages

Huria as holders of the Taiahiahi bring the taonga to us for our annual Rugby battle

We will be revealing our newest taonga for netball 'Herearoha' dedicated and comprising 3 sporting wahine toa from Huria who married into Matapihi.

* Elizabeth Riripeti , nee NGATOKO - TOGO (Turiri Dickson)
* Linda Hemanawa, nee NGATOKO - TOGO (Kaumoana Gear)
This taonga has been carved by Ihaka Smith, son of Koronahu who carved our rugby taonga 'Taiahiahi' many moons ago, so special all around. Unveil at our
Powhiri 10.30am followed by kaputi.

Action at our kura 11.30am/ 1pm. Please support our Tamariki BBQ fundraiser at the kura, much appreciated

He karanga tēnei ki te whānau o Matapihi hāpori.

Our hosting komiti for the TMTT festival want to hold a hui ā-hapori with all three of our marae. We’ll give an update on the programme that we've set, hear your whakaaro, and identify whānau from our hapori who are keen to help as kaimahi or kaitautoko for the festival.

We host our 2nd Pa Wars games this weekend with our Hangarau Whanau for the Rangitukunoa Combined TAONGA

Whakatau at Hungahungatoroa Marae followed by kaputi.
Games at our kura where we again showcase our rugby and Netball prowess.

Another kai stall to support our kura tamariki so please bring heaps of coin

After function/ kai hakari at Waikari Club. Looking forward to another great day of Whakawhanaungatanga Tautoko mai
