Mother’s Day is one of the days that feels really different to me now, especially since becoming a mum and working so closely with women and mums.
It’s not often in life that you get a whole day where it feels okay to make it about you.
A day where you can choose yourself without questioning it.
We get little moments here and there as parents, and yes, we should get better at taking them…
but Mother’s Day feels different.
I see it as a chance to go and do something just for me.
A chance to take space where I’m not in charge, not needed, not responsible.
And it’s also such an important chance to celebrate mums.
All mums. At every age and every stage.
Because this role asks so much of you, every single day.
After the beautiful feedback from last year’s Mother’s Day event at Te Puna Quarry, I knew we had to do it again 🤍
This year, we’re heading to Ōmokoroa Beach.
If you grab a ticket, you’ll get:
A 30 minute total body banded workout with Mum Strong
to move, release energy, and feel your muscles switch on 🔥
Followed by a beautiful flow yoga session with Chloe from Nothing Pretty to slow everything down and bring you back to calm 🌿
And then you get to stay and enjoy a drink made by Kelly at The Salt Shack while sitting in the most beautiful spot overlooking the ocean 🌊
Space. Movement. Calm. Connection.
A moment that’s just for you 🤍
Buy one for your mum and come along with her.
Tell your husband, this is what I want.
Or just grab one for yourself.
Bring a friend and take that time together, away from the noise.
If this sounds like you, head to www.mumstrong.co.nz, hit join now and find the Mother’s Day option to secure your spot 🕊️
Spots are limited, so grab yours now 🤍
