⚫️⚪️ RESULTS ⚪️⚫️

Three teams. Three wins.

A great weekend for our Barbarians teams, with every squad showing courage, commitment, and pride in the jersey.

🏉 1st XV
Barbarians 19 – 7 Te Puke High School

🏉 U16
Barbarians 46 – 19 Trident High School

🏉 U14
Barbarians 78 – 48 Trident High School

While we’re proud of the results, we’re even prouder of the way our players represent themselves, their Whānau and their schools. The effort, resilience, sportsmanship, and connection shown across all three teams continues to reflect what being a Barbarian is all about.

Success isn’t built on a single Friday or Saturday. It’s built through every training, every challenge, every teammate encouraging another to be better, and every family member supporting from the sideline.

To our coaches, managers, whānau, and supporters – thank you. Your contribution helps create an environment where our young people can thrive.

One Club. One Culture. All In.

🏉🖤 Congratulations Ryan! 🖤🏉

A huge congratulations to Ōtūmoetai College student and Barbarian, Ryan Adams, on his selection into the WBOP Under 18 Boys Extended Training Squad for 2026.

Ryan’s selection is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and commitment he consistently brings to his rugby. His performances throughout the season, combined with his willingness to learn and compete, have earned him this well-deserved opportunity to take the next step in his representative rugby journey.

We are incredibly proud to see Ryan recognised among the best young players in the Bay of Plenty and look forward to following his progress through the WBOP programme.

Congratulations Ryan — your Barbarian and ŌTC whānau are right behind you! 👏
