🏏 Friendly Match Series – Danphe Cricket Club 🇳🇵

A competitive two-match friendly series for Danphe Cricket Club, with some outstanding individual performances and plenty of positives to take forward!

🔥 Match 1 vs Tauranga Strikers
Tauranga Strikers batted first and posted 136 all out in 22.5 overs, setting Danphe a target of 137. Prajwol Karki was the star with the ball, producing an outstanding 5-wicket haul for just 22 runs (5/22)! 🎯🔥 Despite a strong bowling effort, Danphe were bowled out for 114 in 22.4 overs, with Bikash Bikash (24),Saugat Neupane (20) and Radhe (15) making valuable contributions. Tauranga Strikers won by 22 runs.

💥 Match 2 vs Baaj 2
Danphe came out firing with the bat, scoring an impressive 254/5 in 30 overs. ⭐ Bishal Bhandari was outstanding, smashing a brilliant 94 runs off 77 balls, while Ajit Chaudhary contributed 56 off 43 and Radhe Yadav scored a quick 40 off 20 balls. Baaj 2 chased the target and finished 258/8 in 26.2 overs, winning by 2 wickets.

🏏Danphe Cricket Club vs Tauranga Strikers🏏

It was an exciting two-game friendly cricket match between Danphe Cricket Club and Tauranga Strikers, with both teams showcasing great batting, bowling and competitive spirit.🎊

Game 1: Danphe Cricket Club scored 167 all out in 22.2 overs, led by a brilliant 55 off 23 balls from Radhe, while Bishal B added 24. Bivek Thapa was the standout bowler with 2/30. Tauranga Strikers chased the target successfully, finishing 171/5 in 22.1 overs. Mintu’s unbeaten 63 off 38 balls was the key contribution, supported by Preet (31) and Jagroop (23), giving Tauranga a 5-wicket win.

Game 2: Danphe came back strongly, posting an impressive 208/8 in 25 overs. Radhe once again led the way with a spectacular 80 off 31 balls, including 6 fours and 8 sixes. Ajit scored 33, Ranjan Yadav 27 and Raj 20. In reply, Tauranga Strikers reached 104/5 after 16 overs before rain stopped play, bringing the game to an early end with no result.
