For us, a happy pony starts from the inside out.

Alongside 24/7 access to grass, hay and fresh water, plus a good hard feed, we add Syncro-Gastro from Syncroflex HA to Phoebee’s daily routine.

And with Phoebee, the difference has been undeniable.

She’s happier, more comfortable and just generally feels better in herself, and when you know your pony well, those little changes speak volumes.

While Sam’s off training horses, I’ve realised just how self-sufficient Indie has become!

Once all the fun was done, she made her pony’s feed, walked her back to the paddock, rugged her up, then jumped on the motorbike and drove herself home.

I’m loving watching all the learning happening along the way and seeing the confidence, independence and abilities she’s developing in pursuit of the sport she’s chosen to love.

It’s not just about learning to ride, it’s learning everything that comes with being a little horsewoman.

We’re SO excited to have mares back in the foaling paddock again!

And we’re starting the season with two very exciting arrivals to look forward to, a purebred Gypsy Cob foal and a Riding Pony foal.

The Riding Pony will most likely be staying on and eventually joining Indie’s ever-growing team… because apparently there’s always room for one more pony!

And the Gypsy? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see what arrives.

I’ve always had such a special place in my heart for Gypsy Cobs, so having the opportunity to breed our very own Still Waters purebred Gypsy Cob is something I’m incredibly excited about. Thank you Pauline for trusting me with your beautiful Bella!

There’s just something pretty special about the beginning of foaling season, the waiting, the guessing, the sleepless nights and then finally getting to meet the little horses we’ve spent so long planning for.

Here’s to another season of Still Waters babies.
