Pillar to Pou A refreshing take on an endurance event.

Returning 13 June 2026 in Taupō, Pillar to Pou invites solo runners, walkers, and teams of 2–6 to complete as many 7.3km lakefront laps as they can in six hours - Pillar to Pou and back again.

Just shy of 200 young chargers took on the Pillar to Pou Kids event — tackling a quarter, half, or full 7.3km Pillar to Pou loop.

A stream of orange along the Taupō lakefront, big smiles, proud whānau, and finisher medals earned the best way possible — by getting out there and giving it a crack.

PILLAR TO POU 2026 IS SOLD OUT.

Just two years in, we’ve tripled in size, and now are officially sold out.

Thank you for backing what we’re building on the Taupō lakefront. We can’t wait to see you at registration at the Two Mile Bay Sailing Club (Thursday 3–6pm, Friday 3–8pm & Saturday 8–9:30am), and then on event day.

You’ve spent the day chasing laps. Finish it by chasing a sweat.

will be joining us with their 15-person wood-fired sauna — Pillar to Pou, Saturday 13 June, 9am until late.

Not included in your entry, but a pretty good way to finish. Hot sauna. Cold plunge?

$15 for 30 minutes. $25 for an hour. Spaces are limited.
