⚽ McCartney Invitational Tournament – Fixture Update ⚽

We’re busy working through the fixtures for this year’s McCartney Invitational Tournament and will have the full draw out as soon as we can.

In the meantime, for teams making travel and accommodation plans, here’s a general guide to the tournament start and finish times based on last year’s schedule:

9th Friday
▶️ First games: approximately 10:30am
🏁 Last games finish: approximately 5:00pm

10th – Saturday
▶️ First games: approximately 8:00am
🏁 Last games finish: approximately 5:15pm

11th – Sunday
▶️ First games: approximately 8:00am
🏁 Last games finish: approximately 3:15pm

Please treat these as indicative times only at this stage — individual team schedules and exact kick-off times will be confirmed once the fixtures are completed.

With 127 teams to fit into the weekend, there’s plenty of work going on behind the scenes! ⚽😊

Thank you all for your interest you've shown in registering your teams. We've now completed the initial line up and sent confirmation emails to all who expressed interest in taking part.

We received 310 entries for the 128 places available. All 10 grades are heavily oversubscribed and with the best will in the world we are simply unable to accommodate everyone who applies.

Spaces are limited and we now have 182 teams on the wait list. If spaces do become available we'll be in touch.

Thank you for your patience as we finalise entries for the 2026 McCartney Invitational Tournament. Due to an unexpected change in field availability, we require a little more time to rework our lineup & draw to ensure a high-quality experience for everyone.

We have received an overwhelming response this year, and all 10 grades are heavily oversubscribed. Because spaces are strictly limited, we unfortunately cannot accommodate every team that applied.

We expect to finalise the lineup by Wednesday, 10th June 2026. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we iron out these final logistics.
