I had a good play with Fred after a few recent accidents on one of my other non lesson horses, one of our projects who flipped on me and had thrown me off a couple times. So the confidence has definitely taken a knock but as we all know you have to get straight back on and try again so we are getting back into it again and getting Fred up in his level again day by day.

Owning and riding horses are not all as glamorous as some people think. The image of an “equestrian” is very different behind closed doors, we all have our knocks and set backs no matter what level or what horse, no matter the price tag, no matter if your a coach or first time being around horses it will come but you learn from it and adjust then try again.

A big part of teaching/coaching is to be very transparent to all of our riders of what can happen and why to find ways around situations that may be scarier than others. Creating a safer and more competitive learning environment.

So I want to take this time to say I’m so proud of all of our riders at Ace Equine all ages all levels you guys are rocking it 💯🤟🏼🫡

Our newest boy Ronnie, we took him on for a client months ago to put some kms on and try sell him but have decided to take him on permanently myself

For the next few months I will continue to work with Ronnie and then he will be up for sale, he will make a beautiful dressage horse and may give a couple jumps a go 👀
