THE NATURE OF HANDMADE/PRELOVED ITEMS
I make all of the browbands and lapel pins by hand
. It is the nature of handmade items to include minor imperfections and irregularities that do not affect use. All ties are preloved, second-hand items unless indicated otherwise. I have checked them carefully to ensure they are in excellent condition, but as they are second-hand, they may have small marks/imperfections that will not interfere with their use and will not be visible at a distance. These issues are not covered by the 60-day guarantee outlined below. CUSTOM ORDERS
Please get in touch to discuss your requirements. I usually have in stock a variety of ribbon in various colours, some fabrics for wrap-style browbands, various trims and a small selection of bling embellishments. When you contact me with your request, I'll let you know when I will be able to complete it by. I will also advise you of the total cost and request a non-refundable $10 deposit, payable before I commence work on your item. This is to cover some of the costs incurred with making your custom item if you choose not to buy it once completed. I am happy to supply photos of the progress of your item if you would like – please ask – and am happy to modify a design in the early stages. :)
Once your item is completed, I will send you photos of the finished item(s) and an invoice. Your item(s) will be sent out once full payment (less $10 deposit) including shipping has been received. Please note that I have a full-time job outside of Stand Out Browbands, so I am very rarely able to complete a browband in less than 8 days – and you will need to allow for shipping time and the custom orders ahead of yours, so get your order in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
60-DAY GUARANTEE
A 60-day guarantee applies from purchase date for any item purchased from Stand Out Browbands and this covers manufacturing faults only. 'Faulty manufacturing/workpersonship/workmanship' refers to any aspect of the manufacture that has been insufficient to hold the browband together during normal use. It does not cover accidental damage sustained during use or in transit, or damage as a result of improper storage or handling (please refer to the care card that comes with your browband for instructions on how to look after your browband). REPORTING A FAULTY ITEM
Please advise us as soon as possible if your item is found to have a manufacturing fault.
***Do not return your item until you have discussed the issue with us first.***
If your item has a manufacturing fault on arrival, please advise us of this within 24 hours of receiving the ordered item. Stand Out Browbands will not be responsible for faulty items received if not reported within 24 hours of receiving them. Faulty items will be repaired or refunded at the discretion of Stand Out Browbands. RETURNS
Stand Out Browbands will only accept returns if the ordered items are returned in their original condition within 7 days of receipt. Postage and packaging will not be refunded for any returns due to change of mind, order made in error by the customer or for any reason that is not attributable to an error by Stand Out Browbands.
