We want to take a moment to shine a massive spotlight on one of our netball community’s absolute lifesavers: Jo

Our Netball community runs on volunteer power, but Jo consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.

Why JoJo is our MVP:

Back-to-back games: She literally breaks her back umpiring consecutive matches without a single complaint.

Drop-of-a-hat dedication: She picks up games at a second's notice when we are in a jam.

Proactive support: She steps in to help the moment she spots a need, before anyone even asks.

JoJo, your selflessness, energy, and dedication keep our games running and our community smiling. We honestly do not know what we would do without you.

Taumarunui Netball Centre would like to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to every single player who stepped out onto the courts for our 2026 Representative Trials.

Putting yourself out there to trial takes immense courage, dedication, and hard work and every single one of you should be incredibly proud of your efforts.

Whether you were selected this season or not, your passion for the game is what makes our netball community so strong. Keep working hard, keep smiling, and we cannot wait to see you all thriving on the court for your respective teams this season!

A massive shout out to Scott Love for organising the Ruapehu Rural Fire Brigade truck to come give our Netball Courts a blasting yesterday. Thank you to Kristina, Bill, and the wonderful young ladies who joined them.

We are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive, hands-on crew in our community.
