Help support our Hall of Martial Arts Taumarunui team as we head to Melbourne, Australia to compete at the IBJJF Pan Pacific Championships 🇦🇺🥋

Our athletes have been training hard and proudly representing our small town on the mats, now we need your support to help get them to Melbourne! 💪

Over the past year, Alina has been such a positive, friendly, and bubbly addition to our whole HOMA whānau. She has brought so much fun to our women’s classes with her smiles, laughter, and the energy she brought to every session. 😊

🔥 BIG NEWS FOR TEAM HOMA 🔥

After years of training hard, stepping outside their comfort zones, and competing all over New Zealand, our team from Hall of Martial Arts Taumarunui is ready for the next challenge 🙌

This October, 6 of our athletes will be heading to Melbourne, Australia to compete at the IBJJF Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2026🥋

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, discipline, courage, and growth these young athletes have shown on and off the mats. From local competitions to travelling across the country for experience, they’ve continued to represent our small town with heart every single time ❤️

Now it’s time to test themselves on an international stage, gain overseas experience, and continue growing through the sport they love.

Over the next few months we’ll be running fundraising events to help support the team with travel and competition costs. If you would like to support these athletes and be part of their journey, please keep an eye out for upcoming fundraisers 🙏

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our club, our kids, and our vision for giving local athletes opportunities beyond our town. 🙌🩵

From empty walls to a space full of purpose 🙌🏼

What started as a vision is now becoming a home for our community. A place where confidence is built, friendships are formed, and hard work happens every single day. Watching this transformation come to life has been something pretty special 🩵

A huge thank you to everyone who helped along the way, whether you lifted, built, cleaned, supported, or simply backed us. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
