🐺 THE STORY BEHIND WULFPACK 🐺

This name isn’t just a rebrand, it’s a legacy.

WULF stands for what we live and breathe every day in this gym:
Whānau. Unity. Loyalty. Fortitude.

But it goes deeper than that.

WulfPack Boxing carries the name and legacy of Mike Wulf, built on over 40 years of dedication to the sport, to his fighters, and to this community. This isn’t new… it’s earned.

This name also carries the people who shaped his boxing journey, his mother Tina and father Ian, his uncles Eddie Wulf and Jack Peterson, and his cousin Maselino Masoe. Their strength, sacrifice, and spirit are part of everything this gym stands for.

The name Wulf isn’t just a surname, it represents heritage, resilience, and a story that spans generations. That story now lives on through this gym, our people, and every fighter who walks through the doors.

This is more than a name change.
This is legacy in motion.

After years of building something special since 2017, Eastside Boxing has officially evolved.

We are now WulfPack Boxing 🐺

Same people. Same grind.
But a stronger vision, new leadership, and a whole new era.

Mike’s still here, 40+ years deep in the game.
Now alongside him, Tiana (Tee) steps in as co-owner, bringing fresh energy and direction to the pack.

And the new logo? Locked in and trademarked ®️🐺

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE – GYM REOPENING

We’re back. And better than ever.

Our doors will officially reopen to members on Tuesday 28 April 🥊

📌 What you need to know:
• All classes will resume as normal from this date
• Kids class (ages 7–14) will now start at 4:15PM for this term
• Adults class remains at 6:00PM

This isn’t just a reopening, it’s the start of a new chapter. Same grind, same whānau… just stepping forward stronger, and with a few tweaks here and there 💪🔥

We’ve missed the noise, the energy, and the hustle.
Let’s get back to work.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE – GYM CLOSURE

Our venue at the Velodrome will be closed to the public from Wednesday 8 April due to scheduled maintenance on the cycling track.


📌 What this means:
• All gym/boxing memberships will be placed on hold during this time
• Work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday 22 April
• Tuesday 28 April is the latest possible reopening date if extra time is needed

🐣 EASTER CLOSURE 🥊

Eastside Boxing will be closed for the Easter break with no classes being held from Thursday 2 April till Wednesday 8 April.

The closure is to allow our team to take a squad away to Easter Camp 💪🔥 — an awesome opportunity for our boxers to train hard, sharpen their skills, and represent the gym.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support, Eastside whānau.
