A massive thank you to our community, volunteers and whānau for helping us run such a huge rugby league day here in Tairua yesterday! What an awesome success and so good seeing all the smiling faces out there especially our tamariki 🥰

Our men finished off the day against Mercury Bay Boars, with the final score 46–14 to Mercury Bay. Thank you so much Mercury Bay, we always love hosting you guys! Mihi and all the best for the rest of the season.

Big day of league here in Tairua this Saturday at Cory Park Domain! See below for the junior draws.

Then stick around for our Men’s game at 2pm as we take on the Mercury Bay Boars! 🏉

We’ll be fundraising throughout the day to help towards new equipment for our kids and getting boots on the field. If you have anything we could raffle, some baking to sell, or can lend a hand on the BBQ, we’d really appreciate it!

Donations can be dropped into Johnny’s Tairua or bring them down to the field tomorrow from 8am.

We will have sausage sizzle, mussel fritters, baking and soft drinks for sale so come on down!

🏐 Tairua Netball Prizegiving 2026

On Wednesday night we wrapped up our Tairua Netball season with our prizegiving at Manaia Kitchen and Bar!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate what has been such a great season for all three of our teams: our Year 5/6 girls, Senior Maroon and Senior Blue.

We’re so proud of how much netball has grown here in Tairua and it’s been awesome seeing our players out on the court each week representing our little community.
