Hope everyone is having a nice Easter Weekend so far.
Rugby season is just around the corner so if you have a child wanting to play and haven't registered can you please do so as I need to start sorting teams out.
Also we currently only have one Ripper coach and will definitely need 1 possibly 2 more.
If this is something you can help with please get in touch.
A Massive thanks again to all our coaches this couldn't happen without you all.

We have kindly been donated 10 maybee 20 round bales of good quality balage to sell.
$80 per bale and can deliver within the Taihape region preferably sell in bulk.
All money will go straight into the club.

Hi Everyone here are a few Key dates/info for rugby this season…

Coaches muster Thursday 26th March @ 5.30pm @ Taihape Clubrooms

ALL coaches MUST attend a small blacks 2026 course please get in touch about dates for these as there are a few

Registrations close 30th April

NO new registrations will be accepted after 9th May

Anyone needing financial help with fees to contact Taihape Junior Rugby by 30th April

Opening day 2nd May

Closing day 4th July

10 week season - all games being played in Term 2 only - we play on Kings Birthday weekend and the first weekend of the term 2 holidays

Sponsors day TBC

As the season is coming closer we are again on the look out for coaches.
If you are interested in coaching please get in touch asap. So we can try and have things organized well before the season starts.
Also a reminder our AGM is being held this Thursday 5.30 at Taihape Rugby Clubrooms all are welcome!

It's that time again.
Registrations for our 2026 season are now open.

If you created a profile last year all you need to do is login and re register you child/children for this season.

New Parents will need to visit “Rugby Xplorer” website and create yourself a profile (link in comments below)
- You then need to link/register each child under yourself;
- Then register them for “Taihape Saturday Morning Rugby”

If you have any problems please message us through this page and we will help you.

Registrations are $30 per player this year: Please pay/transfer to:

Hi ! Hope you are all enjoying the school holidays! ☺️
I am just trying to tidy up the loose ends from the season, before heading back to school next week. If you still have your child’s/childrens playing jerseys from this season, can you please drop them into the PGG Wrightson store - I have got a box in there ready for them!
This weekend I will be sorting and crossing their numbers off my list. Then I will be able to chase up any outstanding jerseys (hopefully I won’t have any though 😉)

A date has been set for prizegiving it is Friday the 12th Sep 5 till 7 @ Utiku Club Rooms
Will have a barby so if you could all please bring a plate also more than welcome to bring a beer or two celebrate the end of the season.
