Weather Permitting Our bottom green is Open

Some of our Stratford-Avon Ladies played at Paraparaumu Beach in a 2 day 2 4 2 ladies Tournament over the weekend. 3 greens were full and the weather was perfect. Colleen and Theresa were the most successful out of the Taranaki team’s managing to win 5 of their 6 games and finished 6th out of 48 teams.

Club Working Bee this Saturday at 9am

A busy weekend of bowls were had with some members heading out of Taranaki to play in a 2 day Classic. Wayne, Daniel, Kristin and Melisa played at Whanganui Saturday and Sunday where they just missed out on the prize money.
Theresa, Mihi Sheryle and Colleen played in a two day classic at Masteron Bowling Club, conditions were tough with gale force wind but overall an excellent two days of bowls.
They also bumped into our very own club member Michelle Doidge who was also down playing with the girls from Lepperton, Nelli, Nellie and Linda. It was great seeing other Taranaki bowlers down there.

Congratulations to our following members who have been selected to represent Taranaki in the upcoming fixture against Waikato on the 8th and 9th of September at Paritutu.
