WOW. What an awesome week of racing. Congratulations to our newly crowned New Zealand Minisprint champion. Our very own Duane Hickman taking it out after a tight battle over 3 races. Having only been in the class this season Duane kept it consistent throughout the night. Congratulations to the former 1nz Elliot on picking up 2nz and to 8p Nathan on 3nz. 🏆

We now move on to our international series, Which will have us start off tomorrow night in Palmerston North and followed by Wanganui on Saturday. On March the 8th & 9th the final two nights will be run at Stratford, along with the New Zealamd modified champs.

Tonight the team held a get together. Thankyou to Daryl&Teneka uhlenberg for hosting. The boys are all excited and fitted to their cars for this series. A big thanks must go to the car owners for providing these men with some serious rocket ships. We can’t thank all our sponsors and crew enough for helping put together this awesome series. Be sure to come down and have a yarn to the boys and grab a photo. Can’t wait to get this series started. 💪🏾🏁🏎️🇺🇸🇨🇦🇳🇿

Hi all, last Saturday night saw us get our first local championship done for this season. The City of New Plymouth Classic drew an all local 10 car field. The first heat was won by 82s Cam Hurley from 85s Erin Uhlenberg and 28s Karl Uhlenberg in 3rd. Heat two saw 12s Mark Phipps take the flag from 28s Uhlenberg with 38s Don Kuriger rounding out the top 3. Heading into the final heat Uhlenberg and Hurley were tied on 17 points with Phipps on 16 back to Kuriger on 15 and all four were beside each other for the final race. An unfortunate race start incident saw Phipps eliminated with a spectacular roll by the pit gates. This then had Uhlenberg, Kuriger and Hurley now left to battle out the result. 7s Matt Julian won the heat with a great drive from Kuriger, Hurley then Uhlenberg. Hurley won the title by one point from Kuriger and Uhlenberg. A good nights racing. Our next meeting at Stratford is the 10th December hope to see you there and we are off to meetings in Wanganui this weekend and Huntly the following. Cheers and stay safe out there.
