Meet your 2027 Trail LoopHER Ambassadors 🌟 Next up: Jeanine Jeanine Lumsden

Jeanine’s journey started with walking when her girls were toddlers, building up to running - through all of life’s events and illnesses since. A solo mama of two teens working full time in home-based childcare, she runs and hikes whenever she can, fuelled by her love of the outdoors.

After taking on the 12 hour last year, Jeanine will be lining up for the 3 hour - and cheering everyone on for the rest of the day! Her goals? Have fun, make new friends, and support others to smash their own goals. 💛

In her words: “This event is perfect for all those ladies unsure how far they can go, wanting to push further, or getting back into walking and running - no pressure on pace or distance, just a fun, supportive environment for every wahine.” 🌲👟

Ayla is an avid trail runner who shares her journey of ultra running while managing her endometriosis. She’ll be taking on the 12 hour solo at Trail LoopHER 2027, with two goals in mind: dialling in her nutrition, and chasing down the 80km she smashed out last year 💪

In Ayla’s words: “This event is the perfect, beginner-friendly race for anyone wanting to get into trail running. It’s such an amazing atmosphere to push your limits.” 🌲
