The future of the Sheffield Pool is hanging in the balance. This is a fantastic resource for our community and Springfield School and it needs our positive feedback and input for it to remain as a recreational and educational resource in Malvern.

As well as our four big decisions, we encourage you to share your thoughts on the below proposals:

There has been much interest and discussion around the crashed car at the eastern entrance to the Township. The Springfield Community Association has been working on getting this sorted and pleased to report that the vehicle has now been removed.

Attention: Springfield Residents

Under the recent Selwyn District Council regulations the Springfield Township Committee has been disbanded.

The new entity, Springfield Community Association, is calling a meeting to elect a new Committee to represent the community on behalf of the residents. If you have feedback, input or concerns about issues that impact our Township and surrounding areas, you are welcome and invited to attend this meeting to be held on Tuesday 2nd May, 7:30pm, Tawera Memorial Hall, Springfield.

Even if you do not plan on sitting on the Committee, come along to the meeting, share your feedback, your attendance is welcome.

Wow, what a fantastic day in our wonderful little village...so neat to see so many of you out there enjoying the festive spirit. HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out on the day...today was all about COMMUNITY and we really do have a pretty special one out here!
