On Saturday, we held our Senior Prizegiving where we celebrated an awesome 2026 season 💙❤️

Club Spirit: Dianne Wright
Most Improved Player: Larnia Thomas
Player of the Year: Carla Fraser

At the Northern Wairoa Prizegiving, we won the Sportsmanship Award for the Premier Reserve Grade. Samantha Llewell received the award for Most Improved Senior Umpire, and Laura Blundell received the ANZ Award for Excellence.

We are so proud of our team - we may not have finished where we had hoped, but we worked hard and always remained positive. See you next season 💪🏼

Upcoming Coaching Workshops! 🏐

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Coffee, Cake & Coaching sessions - relaxed, supportive pre-season workshops designed for anyone involved in coaching netball!

These evenings are all about connecting, learning, sharing ideas and asking questions in an informal space with other coaches from across our Northern Wairoa netball community.

Dates: Wednesday 18th February and Wednesday 11th March

Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Location: Sportsville Dargaville

Whether you’re brand new to coaching or have years of experience, these sessions are a great chance to grow your confidence, build connections and pick up practical ideas you can take straight back to your team. Junior and senior coaches are all welcome.

We’re starting to plan for the upcoming senior season which begins March 18th, and we would love to get an idea of numbers. If you’re keen to play netball this year, whether you’re a returning player, new to the club, or even just thinking about it, we’d love to hear from you!

Tomorrow is Finals Day! Please see amended draw. Due to a default, the Premier Final will begin slightly earlier at 10:45am. There have been no changes made to Round 1.
