NZ MTB Academy NZ MTB Academy is a New Zealand based MTB programme setup to support the codes of XCO, DHI and Enduro.

The purpose for the programme is to support and develop young MTB athletes progressing from Junior into Elite. New Zealand MTB Academy - A academy setup to develop athletes in the sport of MTB (DH,XC & Enduro) as they progress from development to high performance world class level.

We're stoked to have Mason Parr as part of the NZ MTB Academy crew.

At just 16, he's already taken out National Champs, Oceania Continental Series Round 1, and Crankworx Whistler OG DH. We can't wait to see what's yet to come, Mason! 🙌🏼

What started as riding and racing with mates at intermediate quickly turned into something bigger for 👊

Growing up in Rotorua, James got into riding through his dad, spending weekends doing shuttle laps and learning fast, including one run he’ll never forget where the brakes gave out and stopping with his feet was the only option 💀

After podium finishes at North Island Champs and Nationals, he was hooked on the freedom, adrenaline, competition, and chasing the next challenge on two wheels. We can't wait to see what's next for you, !
