On behalf of the Geyser City Squash Club, we would like to pass on our condolences to the McKnight family on the passing of Leon McKnight.

The McKnight family have been long time supporters of our club and we are so sorry to hear of his passing. Sending our thoughts and prayers to Jeannine and family, and Carl and family at this time.

PLEASE NOTE!
We had 5 teams miss out last round who have automatic entry to this round, so that leaves space for 4 teams in the early round, and 7 spaces for teams in the late round, teams will be drawn from a hat, bribes accepted 😉

Kia ora Geyser Members,

Winter Interclub is coming up and we’re putting teams together for our club — and this year they’re trialling a new format.

It’ll be more local-based clusters, with clubs grouped in our area instead of travelling far each week. 🙌🏼

Details:
• Starts early May (Mon/Tues, 7pm)
• 8-week round robin + 2 weeks finals
• 4 players per team (plus reserves)
• $100 per team entry
• Finals in July

If you’re keen, message your club captain so we can start sorting teams — entries close 27th April! 😊

Busy night at the club tonight, with all the div 4 men's Interclub teams playing off the finals, then into a big kai.

Shot to Galatea Social Sports and Squash Club, Putaruru Squash Club and Tokoroa Squash Club lads traveling tonight, some great battles tonight, with one of the teams going to 23-21 in the 5th set!

Good luck Ani! The Geyser whanau are very proud. We will be looking forward to hearing all the updates!

Our juniors are ready to go!

They’re heading across the ditch for a massive couple of weeks of competition, kicking things off with the Trans‑Tasman Series, where our team goes head‑to‑head with the Aussies.

From there it’s into the Australian Junior Open, before finishing up at the Oceania Junior Championships. Three big events, plenty of challenges, and an incredible opportunity for our kids to test themselves.

We’re so proud of the hard work they’ve put in to get here and can’t wait to see them represent with passion, pride, and determination. Best of luck to all our juniors – go well and enjoy every moment!
