Skyline Rotorua is home to New Zealand's first all season Gondola assisted bike lift park, accessing world-class downhill mountain biking trails.

Skyline Rotorua MTB Park gives riders easy access to a 12 kilometre trail network featuring trails with varying terrain for all ability levels. Enjoy the perfect flow from berm to berm on Hipster, hit the 1.8 km, 32 feature jump track known as Mr Black or take on the lower section of the DH course used for Crankworx, The Fuzz. No matter what trail you choose, you will enjoy the dirt that has been described by the pros as the best ever seen. The Skyline gondola takes the hard work out of the park’s 200-metre vertical rise. The dedicated gondola cabins are designed to take up to four bikes and riders per trip allowing up to 2500 downhill runs per day. Skyline Rotorua offers a range of Gondola assisted bike passes, from 15 uplift to 100 Uplift passes and full season passes. After many years as part of Rotorua's incredible MTB community, Skyline Rotorua's daily mountain biking operations will come to an end next year, on 25 March 2027, to focus on new developments on site.

Crankworx 2026 has officially kicked off 🔥

Our current hours for regular park use are now posted above. Please be aware that the park schedule may change depending on the Crankworx event schedule/weather conditions.

Hipster, Lower Sprint Warrior, Dweedle Dee and Dweedle Dum will all be closed for tree work until Saturday the 21st of February.
