You are all amazing!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came to Legends 2025 and congratulations to everyone who took part in their challenge.

Over 3000 of you took up the challenge and made this an epic couple of days in Rotorua and the Whakarewarewa Forest.

Legend of the Peaks 6-7 November 2026

Here it is... after 3 long years of waiting... it has finally dropped... the next evolution of the Legend of the Peaks...

The Whaka Ultra 50K is here and it is the most epic Legends event yet! 50.2kms, 2240m elevation gain, heaps of single track, a real battle ground for runners vs trail runners...

The course extends on the NZ Forest Marathon and adds in more tech climbing, more single track and more of the Whakarewarewa Forest beauty, this really is a special event.

We have very limited entries for the Ultra so get in quick!
